My only concern is your calorie intake. 3000 is too much. You are probably basing your calorie target on your current body weight, but you shouldn’t. You should base your target calorie on your lean body mass, because a pound of fat only burns two calories per day.
At your height (6 feet, I think), your lean body mass is probably 160 pounds. You should be on a 2000 calorie a day nutrition plan.
Thank you for the great advice Doc!! I just wish someone would have told me sooner. I had a nutritionist tell me to go on 3000 calories a day believe it or not. I trusted that advice but after you told me that I looked it up and found you to be right.
I now will have to find a better plan to follow and will start looking tonight. THANKS!
