		<description>Thank you for the great advice Doc!! I just wish someone would have told me sooner. I had a nutritionist tell me to go on 3000 calories a day believe it or not. I trusted that advice but after you told me that I looked it up and found you to be right. 

I now will have to find a better plan to follow and will start looking tonight. THANKS! </description>

My only concern is your calorie intake.  3000 is too much.  You are probably basing your calorie target on your current body weight, but you shouldn&#039;t.  You should base your target calorie on your lean body mass, because a pound of fat only burns two calories per day.

At your height (6 feet, I think), your lean body mass is probably 160 pounds.  You should be on a 2000 calorie a day nutrition plan.</description>
