I wanted to write today and give you guys just a brief update on what’s been up with me. First of all I want to point out that this is not an easy task. I find it so typical that many folks who are not on a raw food diet assume that it is so easy.
Many people may assume that you have a fat reset button or something that you hit and then you suddenly become a fat loss machine that burns pounds off almost instantly. NOT!!!
In real life losing weight takes discipline and hard work. It is almost the equivalent to building a new house in a sense. You have to first read the blueprint then lay down the foundation 1 brick at a time.
I have been so worried lately about delivering on my own personal goals. I am now figuring out that I just have to relax. I mean after all I am not running a relay or anything like that. This is a 12 month study that I am conducting because I am personally at a point in my life where I am ready to create change. This is my own challenge and now I am starting to realize that and not put so much pressure on myself when I see others do what I am trying to do now.
I feel that in fitness and weight loss everyone has their own personal story and this one is mine. It is the story of a man on a mission to get fit and how it plays out is just how the story will end up. Yea I know what you are probably thinking now, “NO PRESSURE!” LOL
I have been surrounding myself around real raw food junkies lately and this is indeed motivational FOOD!!!
I personally do better on a diet or anything I do challenging when I am around like minded individuals who can identify with my struggle.
I have also been reading books like The China Study. I have been watching movies like Supercharge Me! 30 Days Raw and started using my York Barbell 300 lb Olympic Weight Set 3 times a week.
I am putting my action pants on now and wearing them so I can really do this thing already. I am taking it one day at a time but I am feeling like I can do this. I am feeling like I got this and the only person in my way is me this time around.
I am also feeling good about the weather now that it is breaking. It is beginning to heat up so I plan to start walking again and this is something I do enjoy doing. I love to walk outdoors and enjoy nature so I plan to do it more often. I think this will help out greatly with my plans to lose weight. Are Food Corporation’s in America deceptive about their products? Could it be possible that companies are more concerned about profit than your overall health? Could you be eating chemicals that pose as the real thing not knowing that you’re eating dies and fillers? I guess all I can say is buyer beware!
