Short Term Goals
Starting on Monday I will be giving my raw lifestyle a 30 day test drive. I know you guys have probably been wondering when I would get to this point. I feel that it is time to stick it out so as of Monday I will begin eating 100% raw for 60 days.
This will mean that any and all protein will be cut out of my diet. I am a little nervous but more excited that I am about to “GET IT IN!”
Walking The Trail

I am back outside workingout in the park again. I decided to give trail walking a try this time around instead of just walking the talk. I kind of like the different tarains and challenges involved with walking the trail.
Naked Juice

It is not always that simple to get the meals in on scedule for me. It is even more challenging to get the kinds of super foods I need and like when on the go. So I have started drinking Naked juice and adding that when on the go. That stuff is crazy good!!! I am going to start making my own juice again soon but my blender died on me so for now I have to tough it out.
I wanted to buy a really good blender like the Blendtec but they are $400 and up. I guess I will have to work that into my budget somehow but right now I will have to just modify my needs however I can.

You are going to be awesome. I want to give it a try but I am so nervous about what I will be able to eat. I have no idea about raw food.
You should try the Raw Food Diet Blueprint . That will give you a full understanding on how to begin to tackle that small hurdle.
I am just doing what I feel is best for my body. I am not an expert by any means yet since I am still overweight and learning but I feel better now. I am starting to gain more energy and my breathing is soooo much better now. I am proud of my style of living and feel inspired and you will to. Just start slow and then gradually move forward. It will also help if you get your husband involved. He seems like a great guy from what you told me and I am sure he will be happy to join you. I am on your side and if you need your friend I am here for you. “JUST DO IT!!”
Glad to see you out and about, doing your thang! Joining you on Sunday on the raw food lifestyle. I tried it for a short time before and in just a few days there was improvement in my health; no joke. Because of cost of living here, things are really expensive and the range of products we have are quite limiting, but I have to use what I can get huh. I am so glad to see you all motivated and motivating. You have a way to go but keep at it strong and soon you will see the results of your efforts. Hats off to you!
Thanks Cherylann so much for that support! I understand what you mean on how expensive produce can be. I think that is why many folks are growing their own and saving a ton of money in the process. I think what is most important is that we just try our best right? I am not perfect by any means but I am giving my health a 100% effort to get better. I feel as long as I am consistent with my fight then I have a fighting chance at winning the war or obesity. I just want to live without worrying about getting sick because of something I could have prevented. You know what I mean?
Be carful with the Naked and Odwalla juices. They are packed with sugars.

Thanks for the heads up man! I will just have to buckle down and get a juicer so I know what I am drinking. I knew it taste to good to be true.. Dang! LOL
Raw foods are definitely the way to go. I get most of my fruits and veggies this time of year from a local farmers markets. They are a great way to get fresh produce, without having to break the bank too much. Good luck with your diet and hopefully allow you to reach your weight loss goals.
Thanks for the comment! I get most of my fruit from my local H-Mart & Farmers Market also. I do find the prices or lower than the supermarkets.
