Raw In Progress Picture Page

Welcome to my Raw In Progress Picture Page. I am very excited to be on the raw food journey and making progress. I know I am not at my goal weight yet but was inspired to put up a Before & After picture page while I am currently losing weight. In the beginning of my Journey I was a staggering 435lbs.) I know it is hard to believe but yes it is true. I was and unfortunately still am considered morbidly obese. I tried Slim-fast, Atkins, fat burners and what a nightmare that was! Weight Watchers, fasting, Nutrisystem, workout videos etc.. You name it and I have tried it! It really seemed to be a let down for me that nothing worked. I was as of 2010 consulting with my insurance company to start the process for surgery. I was at the point of giving up hope and felt sick of feeling sick about my weight and health issues. I was depressed and ready to throw in the towel and just give in to modern medicine for a cure to my obesity issues. Yes I was hitting rock bottom and could not see anyway out of my problem with being overweight. But then I was introduced to Raw Food! This is what I have been waiting for and now I feel like I am on the right track. This is a diet that has been in existence for many years and is definitely not a fad. In fact it was how we as humans where designed to eat in the first place. It is simply a diet that consists of veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds never heated over 110 degrees. This my friends is what the Raw Food Diet really is. It is just eating healthy and making better choices. So now you can see me eating right and who knows what the results will be? Hope you stick around and find out along with me. Currently I am weighing 379lbs. My Height 5ft 11″

Mr Meltdown,

Congratulations on loosing all of that weight! You are an inspiration to a lot of people, and I know that their were many times that you probably wanted to just give up completely on weight loss. I myself lost over 80 pounds and it took me about 9 months and I have been able to keep it off for over 8 years now.

Keep being an inspiration to us all!

Hi Laurie,

Thanks for being such a good friend. I still have a long way to go but I am still in the race and that is what I value most. :)

Hello Derek,
Your on your lifes path never give up as you will continue to inspire many, I wish you much success and I will keep reading… take a look at my blog and you will see my journey on the master cleanse. I did it because my body was sick, headed for a life time of medications, what keeps me motivated is my two boys, I refuse to allow them to see me die of a disease like I watched my Mother die, because I did not take care of my body. I am on the tall side so always hid my weight well even at 200 lbs being 5’9 it looks ok at a size 14, but my health really was suffering.

I had edema, hpylori (the beginning of stomach cancer if not careful) boarder line dieabetic and on high blood presure meds. My hands and feet swell up daily I was on water pills and had body pains. I knew what I had to do. you can read about me on my blog too… http://www.arlenie2.blogspot.com,

I look forward to watching your Success!

I just happen to look at U-tube and saw you on there and begin reading your blog and viewing your videos.. I am currently struggling with my weight and have been for over 20 years. I have been depressed, I’ve heard awful comments from others about my weight, started and stopped several times, considered surgery and I am desperated at this point. I hate being over weight but can’t seem to get it together to lose it. I am so sad about it. You are so brave to put your life on the internet like this.. you are a inspiration to me. I am going to continue to read your life everyday in hopes that it will help me in my weight lost journey. Keep it up and keep inspiring others…we need someone like you.. thanks again
