I was thinking today about all the diet beverages available. There are so many that at times I don’t know which one to buy.
Then I started thinking about what is safe and which one has the best health benefits?
Then I remembered reading somewhere that if you can’t read or should I say understand the content in labels then walk away.
Well I put that theory to the test today when I was shopping for something new to drink.
First I checked out the ingredients of diet Coke. Here is what I found.

Diet Coke™

Wow that kind of felt like I was about to turn into Mr. Science experiment instead of Mr. Meltdown.
I was a little disappointed to find that this diet product had zero calories and equal health benefits to match!

Then I decided to try some diet juice research and looked at the ingredients of Hawaiian Punch Light. Here is what I found this about this drink.

This research went on for about an hour looking at diet beverages until my eyes hurt. Then I started thinking about what is a better solution to my thirsty problem.
What would be considered safe yet satisfying and would not be toxic to my body. Then it hit me and that was when my research was complete.
I decided to go home and take advantage of my natural resources without fear of ingestion of what I would consider liquid waste.
I decided to use Reverse Osmosis to my advantage and poor me a glass of H2o out of my water purifier pitcher that I conveniently keep in the refrigerator.
I have to use common sense in this situation. Sometimes you have to just keep it old school and use what you got to get what you want. Weight loss that is!! So I am sticking to my H2o and have to just say thank God for fat free water!

Water is indeed nature’s soft drink.
agreed.
Right on, Derek! Sometimes I pour a little juice or steep an herbal tea bag to add some taste to the water without all those chemicals–mr. science experiment, lol!
Yea Gee!! Best of all it is 100% FAT FREE!
Hey Laurie!! How are you lady? I have to try that tea idea that sounds kind of good. Maybe some peppermint tea will do the trick to add a little flair to my H20.. LOL
Agree completely! NOTHING is better than water!
