383lbs

OK it’s on and I mean business! I have been drinking my water and saying no to the snacks. I have even given up the late night popcorn I would treat myself for doing well as a reward snack.
I have given up eating out and cooking in grease and have traded it all for fruit and vegetables. I boil and broil and eat only foods that spoil. I am on a mission so all you guys better listen!
I am on a diet of health and fitness and going for the gold medal that only a healthy heart can reward you with.
I am waking up with more energy and feeling better everyday.
I am really feeling like I have put in some work this week and now it is paying off. Last weeks weigh in I was 388lbs so that means I have lost another 5lbs this week!

The result is I am now down to 383LBS this week!! Yea Buddy!!
I am so happy with my progress but it only makes me hungry for more. I am in the mode right now and I just want to keep the speed up so I had to modify a few more things to help me on my way. First off I had to disassociate myself from some friends which aided me in my progress.
This really sucked since I love my friends and would not trade them for the world. But I noticed that the few I selected to stay away from would eat recklessly and temp me but they gave me better focus.
I think that the process of losing weight is similar to beating any other addiction.

This is very important to know because it has to be tackled the same way in my opinion. If you have anything around you that reminds you of how it used to be (to binge on junk) or temps you to fall off track, then you need to push it away!
I have tried to reason with this theory of mine, but this is the only sense I could make out of it. So I did what I had to and put my health first. I am just at the point in my life where I am starting to feel like I can really say I am happy with me. You know what I mean? Anybody out there hear me?
